EJ Shortall was born and raised in a suburb of London, England where she currently still resides.
Having worked in education for the better part of 12 years, EJ decided a change was needed. Following a moment of inspiration, she decided to put pen to paper not expecting anything to come from the few words she had. Soon those few words turned into her first novel, Silver Lining. Not content with just writing the one, she continued with book two and then three, and has many, many more ideas just waiting to be written.
She has always enjoyed reading, but found it was mostly just a holiday extravagance. Then she discovered a certain worldwide best seller, and her passion was reignited. Reading quickly became an obsession and she couldn’t devour books fast enough. The books on her shelves and reading devices range from sweet, Young Adult romances, to smouldering erotic encounters. If pushed for an answer she would say that sexy rock star romances are her favourite.
Aside from reading and writing, EJ also enjoys amateur photography, playing around with graphics and cake decorating.

~Let me start off by saying...this is the first time I've read anything written by EJ Shortall. And now I'm a total fan. She will never be able to get rid of me :) Prepared to Fight had me glued from the beginning. I didn't want to put it down.
I'm writing this review a little different. I decided to write as I'm reading it. I have never done it this way. But, I have to get all this out now. I must speak my mind. And will try not to give anything away. *Insert Angry Face here*
~Olivia. Strong business woman, Curvy (which I'm so glad she's not a stick for once.) Wants to better herself. For her. She's not irritating (thank god) But she does have her insecurities. What Female doesn't?
Nate, he's annoying, all macho and loves Playing head games like a master of all masters. Let me tell you this...(holds hand up, takes a deep breath) 56% into it... I seriously can't stand Nate. So infuriating. The man doesn't know what he wants. Games, games, and more flippin mind games! Piece of crap get your shi* together!!!! UGH!!!
*pulling my hair wanting to scream*
~Oh and he is sooooo MOODY! You would think he has a man period. Like he has something stuck up his "bum". Anger. 😡
~Ok don't get me wrong he's hot. Nice piece of hot meat, MMA fighter with Tattoos. Ever woman's dream right? Well he's a jerk. I want to kick him in the throat so bad right now. I just stopped in the middle of the story to personally tell EJ how much I loathe Nathan! (Sorry for that random message EJ ;) )

~Ok. Hours later. I'm back. Now I get it. Now I get why EJ told me to keep going. My feelings might change for Nate. I thought ya right! Wellllll.....Wow just wow. Tears. Nate is breaking my heart. I love him. What a broken man. He has won me. He has my heart. I love his nickname for Liv. I know I switched. Who's the one confusing now? Haha!
~The Fight felt so real. Like I was there watching it right next to Liv. I was yelling with her. The twists and turns in the end...perfect. Just perfect. Wow. A. Must. Read. People. Go one click!!!
