Corinne did not disappoint with Mark and Charlie. While one has to fight barriers of mistrust, fear and unyielding defenses. The other has the arduous task of overcoming these obstacles. all while uncaring dangerous secrets.

First off Charlie is so funny and endearing, while maintaining her defenses. Mark is as usual his funny charming self. These two have a unique push and pull to their relationship.Watching them both take the plunge was a intense ride that will leave you feeling all the emotions.

This book left me reeling. Going in so many emotional and psychological changes that at some points I didn’t know which way was up or down. The suspense you get from Corrine is there along with the heat that will keep you going long after you’ve silently promised yourself. Just one more chapter then I’ll go to bed. (I know i’m not the only one to do this. If I am well i accept my weirdness.) The ending isn’t what I saw coming. Her twists were really amazing and the whole book kept me guessing till the end.
